Por que os seres humanos choram ? Não sou nenhum fisiologista, mas creio que eles possuem algum tipo de glândula especializada em liberar no olho alguma solução alérgica, talvez com grande quantidade de sal, que faz com que os olhos e rosto inchem e o processo de lavagem através de dutos lacrimais seja ativado, processo este tão útil para realizar a higiene de nossos globos oculares. Todos estão familiarizados com a capacidade de um bocejo de ativar tais glândulas.

Agora, por quais motivos um glandula especializada em irritar o olho surgiu na evolução do homem ?

Talvez, e isso é um grande talvez, ancestrais hominídeos tenham achado eficiente liberam suas emoções em forma de sal em seus olhos, de forma a pedir ajuda, abrigo, protecao, conforto,etc... de seu companheiros através das lágrimas proferidas.


O que me faz pensar em outra coisa. A chuva é um fenômeno atmosférico que também tem muita importância para a manutenção da Biosfera.

Agora... quando acontece algo que não deveria acontecer naturalmente, algo causado pelo homem, como por exemplo o aquecimento global, furo na camada de ozônio, derretimento das calotas polares.... Fenômenos atmosféricos são alterados. Chuvas se tornam mais frequentes em certo lugares....E mais periogosas.... Seria a forma da natureza de "liberar suas emoções" e pedir "ajuda, abrigo, proteção, conforto, etc..." ?
